Earlier this month, we called for more positive, diverse and exciting portrayals of scientists in film to inspire a new generation of kids who care as much about Tesla, Einstein and Curie as they do about Lebron, Danica and Peyton.

The sweetener to the conversation was a ballot asking for your favorite scientists from TV and film. Well, the people have spoken and their favorite is Dr. Emmett "Doc" Brown (Christopher Lloyd) from "Back to the Future".
